She grew up in Haileybury, Ontario. Upon completion of high school, Bea moved to Ottawa to work at Met Life. She later married and raised a family. While busy raising her family, she went to work for the City of Ottawa in the payroll department where she remained until her retirement. She then moved to Campbell River to be close to her children and grand children. In Campbell River, she made many friends and was an active volunteer in the community. She loved to play cards, garden, had a passion for watching figure skating, equestrian sports and attending live theater and musicals.
She is predeceased by her husband Lloyd Hand and son Bruce Hand. She is survived by her daughter Bev Morris (Evan) of Campbell River, son Glen Hand of Camrose, Alberta, and grandchildren Lindsay Holland (Devon), Glen Morris, John Hand (Alyssa).
At Bea’s request, no service will be held. She will always by on our minds and forever in our hearts.
