November 23rd, 2024, Catch left us. She was a mother, a sister, a friend, a colleague, and so much more. Catch is survived by her 2 daughters Kierah Clark and Miranda Clark, her 3 sisters Felice, Brigitte & Joanne Miranda and her brother Marc Miranda.
Catch brought happiness and light to everyone she met. Her gregarious laughter would fill an entire room and more (making her infamous for noise complaints lol.)
She loved to make people smile and did this mostly through baking, giving, and thoughtfulness. If she wasn’t baking for someone, she’d be scouring the beaches to find a special rock, her favorite being the ‘flower stone', to polish and gift to someone. And if she really was trying to impress, you may end up with a gift of other kinds of sea debris, such as a dried out sea urchin or dried kelp, possibly a shell, not excluding crab shells either. These little creative tributes to the earth is what she truly adored sharing with others.
She was so talented at finding the beauty in things that most people would not even care to notice. It is a true blessing to be able to see things in such a unique way.
Her creative mind would always astound us and kept us not only entertained, but excited every time.
Catch was strong and determined and had to overcome many obstacles throughout her life, which she did with purpose and dignity.
Catherine was a memorable, special, caring and nurturing person with such an animated and comical personality. She was one of a kind and will be truly missed by so many people.
We are proud to be her daughters and to have inherited all of her special loving and quirky qualities.
We love you Mom.
