Ernie is survived by his wife Lorna of almost 52 years! He is also survived by his siblings and their families as well as Lorna’s family.
Ernie was a true outdoorsman. His passion in life was fishing, hunting, snowmobiling and camping! Of course it had to be done Ernie’s WAY! He was a Master Mechanic and worked for many years in Lloydminster at North Side Service before making the move to the island and Black Creek in 1994
– which they have called home ever since. He worked as a Service Manager for Barry Brown GM in Campbell River until he retired. He volunteered at Search and Rescue in Comox Valley and did some guiding in Charter fishing and really enjoyed his “ISLAND LIFE”!
There will be on service by request. If you so wish - Donations can be made to Oyster River Firefighters Association, 2241 Catherwood Rd, Black Creek, BC.V9J IJ4
