Irene lived a proudly independent lifestyle. She was well known for her quick wit and ready sense of humor. Along with her lifelong love of gardening, Irene had a passion for baking and enjoyed sharing her goodies with all who passed through her door.
Irene was predeceased by her husband Don in 2000 and her only son Larry (Sonny) in 1998.
She will be dearly missed by her 5 daughters, Gail Eliason, Donna (Garth) Eland, Deb (Mike) Hult, Patty (Ragland) Ross, Tracy (Rick) Rumsby, also her 7 grandchildren, 12 great grandchildren, 4 great-great grandchildren as well as many dear friends.
