Peggy was a daughter of the late Stafford MacCallum and Bessie Archibald.
Peggy was the last surviving member of her immediate family. She will be sadly missed by her son Brock Steeves of Campbellton and by her 24 nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents Peggy was predeceased by her husband of 59 years R Eldon Steeves and by her 12 siblings.
She was active in her community, with the United Church, a past Grand Matron of the Order of the Eastern Star of New Brunswick and was instrumental in the startup of the Meals On Wheels Program in the Campbellton area.
Due to covid restrictions a celebration of Peggy's life will be held at a later date.
