Antoine Johnson

Tuesday, September 20th, 2016 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 80, passed away Mr. Antoine Johnson of Campbellton, husband of Mrs. Simonne (Borris) Johnson.  He was the son of the late Yvonne (Savoie) and the late Fred Johnson.

Besides his wife Mrs Simonne, he will be sadly missed by his children: Michel (Rachel Ouellette) of Campbellton, Shirley (Lee Chamberlain) of Moncton and Dianne (Réginald Roy) of Campbellton; his grandchildren: André-Michel (Jessica Lamontagne), Daniel and Sherrey; his great granddaughter Magalie; his sister Marjorie (Jacques Levesque) of Charlo; his brother Armand (Bertha Pitre) of Val d’Amour also by many members of the Borris, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents, his brothers & sisters: Raymond, Arthur, Harvey, Maria and Rita.

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday morning September 24th at 11am in the Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, Val d’Amour.  Mr. Antoine Johnson will rest at Savoie Funeral Home, situated at 47 Alexander Street, Campbellton on Friday afternoon from 2 till 4and evening from 7 till 9 also on Saturday morning from 9:30 till time of funeral.  All members of the Knights of Columbus, Counsel 1946 of Richardville and all members of the ‘Garde Paroissiale’ – Lady of Snows are requested to gather at the funeral home on Friday evening at 8 for a celebration of prayers.
