
Born in Campbellton, he was the son of Hope (Mann) Farrer and the late Leonard Jones. Danny was a heavy equipment operator for the Department of Transportation for 32 years.
He will be sadly missed by his wife Nancy (Murray) Jones of Manns Mountain, N.B.; sons Troy Jones (Tanya) of Moncton and Trent Jones of Moncton; daughter Heidi Jones of Calgary, Alberta; mother Hope Farrer of Upsalquitch, N.B.; sisters Bonnie Jones of Dalhousie, N.B., and Kathy Borden (Wayne) of Robinsonville, N.B.; and brother Todd Farrer of Squaw Cap, N.B., several nieces, nephews and his special aunties.
His father, Leonard, predeceased him.
The funeral was held from Savoie Funeral Chapel, Campbellton on October 5, 2005, officiated by Rev. Andrew C. Fraser and Rev. Raymond Kraglund, with interment in the Dawsonville Cemetery. Pallbearers were John R. Ryan, Ricky MacDougall, Todd Farrer, Ken Murray, Ron Thibodeau and Nickolas Murray. Honorary pallbearers were Jean Ryan, Alberta Harris, Myrea Firth, Shirley MacDougall, Bonnie Jones, Kathy Borden, Jeannie Crossman, Dale Ryan, Richard Adams, Dale Firth, Scotty Murray and Wayne Borden.
