Wednesday, September 12th, 2012 at the Veteran Unit of the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 98, passed away Mr. Edwin R. Young, husband of the late Ella Ruby Hunter. Born in Grand Mere, Qc. he was the son of the late Willard Alexander and the late Edwina Young.
He will be sadly missed by his children: Frances Mallet (Jean E.) of Bathurst, Ross Young (Marielle) of Trenton, Ont. and Glenn (Raymonde) of Grand-Mère, Qc. also by his grandchildren: Cathy (Bob), Greg (Michelle), Colleen (John) and Lynn (Derrick); his seven great-grandchildren; his five great-great-grandchildren also by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Mr. Young was predeceased by his wife, parents, brother Doug Young and sister Bernice Carmichael.
Funeral service will be held at Savoie Funeral Chapel situated at 47 Alexander Street, Campbellton on September 15, 2012 at 11 am. During the funeral service, a legionnaire service and a masonic memoriam will be held. Family will received condolences at the same place one (1) hour prior to celebration.
