Georges R. Chiasson

At his residence in Butte d’or on Saturday, September 6, 2008 and surrounded of those who loved him, passed away at 61 years, Georges Chiasson, loving husband of Irma (Noel) Chiasson. He was the son of the late Jeremie Chiasson and late Ernestine Losier.

He will be sadly missed by his wife, Irma Chiasson of Butte d’or , Kenneth (Nadine) of Butte d’or, Paulette (Jean) of Allardville, Roger (Nicole) of Butte d’or, Nathalie (Pascal) of St-Sauveur, Elizabeth (Allain) of St-Arthur; his 7 grandchildren : Joslain, Gabrielle, Jeremie, Rebecca, Remi, Marie-Pier and Mercedes; his sisters and brothers : Elizabeth Hache (late Roger), Suzanne Morais (late Frank), Clarence (Jeannette), Jean-Paul (Paula) and Yvon; his sisters-in-law : Geraldine (late Guy) and Argentine (late Edmond). Many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends will also miss him.

He was a man devoted for his community. He worked as a boilermaker (local 73) and it is with regret that he leaves his « brothers ».

He was predeceased by his parents and his brothers: Guy, Edmond and Roger.

Funeral mass will be held Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at 3 pm in the St-Isidore Parish Church. Burial will take place in the St-Sauveur Parish Cemetery. Family will receive condolences one hour prior to funeral in church.
