Germaine Dumont

Monday, January 31st, 2022, at the Foyer Chez Line of Beresford, at the age of 92, passed away Mrs. Germaine Dumont of Beresford and formerly of Campbellton, wife of the late André Dumont. She was the daughter of the late Marie (born Belliveau) and the late Philias Richard.

She will be sadly missed by her children: Lise (Gilbert Boudreau) of Moncton and Anger of Petit-Rocher; her grandchildren: Alain, Mélissa, Christian, Mathieu, Marc-André, and Jacob; her great grandchildren: Mika and Sophia; her son-in-law Marc Lecouffe (Denise) of Cap-Pelé; her daughter-in-law Diane (Martin) of St-Jacques; her daughter in law Monique (mother of Jacob) her brothers: Alfred Richard (Edwidge) of Dieppe, Roger Richard (Francine) of Tide Head and Charles Richard (Joan) of St. Catharines, ON. also by many nieces, nephews and friends. 

She was predeceased by her daughter Nicole, her son Jean, her parents, her sisters: Cora, Rhéa, Pauline and Géraldine; her brothers: Frank and Paul. 

She was a smiling and endearing person who enjoyed being surrounded by her family and friends. She demonstrated her love for children by operating a daycare for more than twenty-five years where she took care of more than fifty children who all called her matante.

Thank you to the staff at Foyer Chez Line, Extra-Mural and Dr. Wade for the excellent care of our mother. 

Funeral mass will be held on Thursday, July 21, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Church, Cambpellton.  Mrs. Germaine Dumont will rest at Savoie Funeral Home, situated at 47 Alexander St., Campbellton, on Thursday, July 21, 2022 from noon till time of funeral.  A donation to the Mental Health would be greatly appreciated by the family.
