Gilbert was born on April 26, 1955 in Campbellton, NB to the late Bernice (Steeves) Maltais and the late Ovila Maltais. He was adopted by Borden Steeves and Annie (Flannagan ) Steeves.
He is survived by his brother on his mother side, Ralph and William (Billy) and on his Father side, Claude (Moussie), Marie-Anne, Connie, Debbie, Joseph, Peter, Jeannie and Raymond
A graveside service will be held at the Rural cemetery on Saturday June 7 at 11:00 o’clock
To respect Mr. Steeves wishes there will be no visitation.
