Helene (Bujold) Bernard

Born in Caplan, Qc., she was the daughter of the late Eliza Bujold and late Honoré Bujold.

She will be sadly missed by her daughters: Rose-Anna Bernard of Atholville, Thérèse Bernard (Robert Bouchard) of Atholville, Rita Hébert (Pat) of Atholville, Marguerite Turmel (Robert) of St-Pierre-les-Becquets, Qc. and Rachel Dumas (Michel) of Balmoral; her sons: Armand (Agnes Cormier) of New Richmond, Qc., Jean-Marie (Denise) of Drummondville, Qc, Raoul (Anne Marie Aucoin) of Atholville and Jean-Guy (Cécile) of St-Rémi de Napierville, Qc.; her sister Marcienne Bujold of Campbellton. Also 17 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren will miss her. Many nieces, nephews and friends will fondly remember Mrs Helene Bernard.

Her husband, Sylvain Bernard and her parents predeceased her.

The funeral was held from Notre Dame de Lourdes Church in Atholville on March 27, 2006, officiated by Father Roméo Morrison and assisted by Father Wilfred Benoit, with interment in the parish cemetery in the spring. Pallbearers were Pascal & Francois Turmel, Patrick Bernard, Sébastien Dumas, Jody Pollock and Pierre Roy.
