Jean-Marie Rioux

Saturday, December 23rd, 2017 at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 84, passed away Mr. Jean-Marie Rioux of Pointe-à-la-Croix, husband of Mrs. Geraldine LeBel. He was the son of late Graziella (born Maltais) and the late Jean Rioux.

Besides his wife Geraldine, he will be sadly missed by his children: Germain (Claudette Bujold) of Pointe-à-la-Croix, Germaine (Michel Veilleux) of Quebec, Paul of Escuminac, Pauline (Gerard Chevarie) of Atholville, Fabien (Johanne Sauvé) of Coteau-Station, Mario (Sylvie Goulet) of Turso, Gervais (Ginette Fortin) of Laurierville and Gertrude (Donald Desrosiers) of Eel River Crossing; 22 grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren; his sisters : Bernadette Rioux, Therese Rioux, Antoinette Cormier and Georgine Girard also by many members of the LeBel family, nieces, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by his son Joseph, his parents also by many sisters & brothers.     

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, January 6th at 10 am (Quebec time) in the Notre-Dame-de-la-Garde Church, Pointe-à-la-Garde. Respecting Mr. Rioux’s wishes, there will be no visitation at the funeral home.  All times have been expressed on the Quebec time.
