Wednesday, July 4th at the Campbellton Regional Hospital at the age of 82, passed away Mr. John "Jackie" Winchester of Atholville, husband of the late Lorraine Winchester. He was the son of the late Elizabeth (born Gionet) and the late John Winchester.
He will be sadly missed by his sons: Donald (Rachelle Pitre) of Atholville, Richard (Laura LaPointe) of Atholville and Charles of Atholville; his grandchildren: Jessica (Brian Caplin), Karine (Joey Miller) and Kelsey; his great grandchildren: Bianca, Madden, Malaya and Millie; his brother Arthur (Claudette) of Atholville; his sister Nancy (Ronald Blaquière) of Dieppe also by many nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife Lorraine, his granddaughter Katia, his parents, his brother Ivan "Bucky" and his sisters Thelma and Barbara.
The funeral mass will be held on Monday morning, July 9th, 2018 at 11am at the Our Lady of Snows Church, Campbellton. Respecting Mr. John "Jackie" Winchester’s wishes, there will be no visitations at the funeral home.
