Léonide «Nide» Lurette

At the Campbellton Village Nursing Home on Thursday, January 27, 2011 at the age of 72, have passed away M. Leonide Lurette of Val d’Amour, husband of Mrs. Jeanne-Mance (Johnson) Lurette.  He was the son of the late Dorina (Ouellette) and late John Lurette.

He will be sadly missed by  his wife Jeanne-Mance, his sons: Marc (Linda) of Vaudreuil-Dorion, Qc., Etienne (Isabelle) of Moncton, Pierre (Danielle) of Beresford, Luc (Brenda) of Val d’Amour, Donald (Josee) of Laurentides, Qc., Stephane (Rachelle) of Vaudreuil-Dorion, Qc. and Jean-François (Veronique) of Montreal; his 9 grandchildren: Melanie, Carine, Jonathan, Julie, Maxime, Sarah-Maude, Olivier, Lea and Gabrielle; his 3 great-grandchildren: Aurelie, Dahlia and Cedric; his sisters: Jeannine Maltais (Clifford) of Val d’Amour, Donalda Maltais (Lorenzo) of Val d’Amour and Paulette Boudreau (Roy) of Campbellton; his brothers: Coy (Claudette) of Campbellton, Hermel of Campbellton and Marcellin (Darlene) of Val d’Amour also by many niece, nephews and friends.

He was predeceased by his parents and a sister, Georgette.

Funeral mass will be held on Monday, January 31, 2011 at 2 pm in the Our Lady of Sacred Heart Church, Val d’Amour.  Family will receive condolences at the reception which will be  held immediately after the funeral in the basement of the church.
