At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Saturday, January 24, 2009, passed away Mrs. Linda Gauthier-Roy of Val d’Amour at the age of 59, wife of late Rene Roy. She was the daughter of late Gertrude (Carrier) and late Richard Gauthier.
She will be sadly missed by her son Ghislain (Gaëtane) of Balmoral; her daughter Johanne Roy (Marcel Doucet) of Balmoral; her granddaughter Melissa; her brother and sisters: Gladys Guitard (late Charlie) of Newcastle, Lillian Charest (late Gordon) of Lorne and Calvin Gauthier (Judy Devereaux) of Lorne; her mother-in-law Rose-Anna Hachey of Val d’Amour. Also, many nieces, nephews, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law and friends will sadly miss her.
She was predeceased by her husband Rene, her parents, her sister Eunice and her brother-in-law William Brideau.
The funeral was held on Tuesday, January 27, 2009 at the Our Lady of Sacred Hearth Church, Val d’Amour, and celebrated by Father Emile Godin with burial in the parish cemetery in the spring. The family would appreciate donations to the Tree of Hope Foundation.
