Rachel Lavoie

At the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 24, 2011 at the age of 88 years, passed away Mrs. Rachel Lavoie, wife of the late Benoit Lavoie.  She was the daughter of the late  Marie Drapeau & late Pierre Marchand.

She will be sadly missed by her sons : Daniel (Ginette Gaudreau) of Sherbrooke, Gilles (Diane Gallant) of Atholville & Guy (Nicole Roy) of Cross Point; her grandson Pierre-Luc & her great-grandson Alexandre Benoit; her brother Georges Marchand (Rolande Rodrigue) of Florida; her sisters : Laure Marchand of Quebec, Marguerite Marchand (Wilfrid Choiniere) of Granby, Madelaine Marchand of Rochester & Jeanne Marchand (Guy Paquin) of Quebec; her brothers-in-law Raymond Lavoie (Monique Francoeur) of Montreal & Claude Lavoie (Lise Chamard) of Quebec; her sister-in-law Suzanne Lavoie of Quebec and by many nieces, nephews and friends. 

She was predeceased by her son Pierre Henri, her husband, Benoit, her parents, her brother Albert, her sisters : Carmen & Fernande, her sister-in-law Louise et her brothers-in-law : Yvon, Paul & Robert. 

Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, May 7, 2011 at 11 am in the St-Benoit Church, Balmoral.  Family will receive condolences in church 1 hour prior to funeral.  A donation to the Canadian Pulmonary Association or to the Tree of Hope Foundation would be greatly appreciated by the family.
