Raymond Roy

Né à Campbellton, le 30 mai 1954, il était le fils de feu Lawrence Roy et de feu Rolande (Essiembre) Roy.

Parmi les emplois occupés au courant de sa vie, Raymond a particulièrement aimé travailler à la radio CIMS et au Centre Touristique du NB.

Avec sa compagnie de DJ, il a fait danser les gens pendant plus de 30 ans. Également, il était actif en tant que bénévole dans plusieurs organisations.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses enfants; Josée (Codi), Joey (Renée), ses deux petits-enfants, ainsi que ses frères et sœurs; Rogers (Judy), Diane (Paulo), André (Laurie), Daniel (Nathalie), Angela (Fern) ainsi que plusieurs neveux et nièces.

Outre ses parents, il était prédécédé par sa sœur Carole.

Une rencontre se fera au Centre de l'Amitié de Campbellton, samedi le 28 février 2026 de 13 à 16 heures.

Pour ceux qui le veulent, un don en sa mémoire peut être fait à l’arbre de l’espoir ou la Société du Cancer.

Passed away at Campbellton Regional Hospital on Friday, February 20, 2026 at the age of 71. Mr. Raymond (the northern bear) Roy of Campbellton, husband of Edith (Doucet) Roy.

Born in Campbellton on May 30, 1954 he was the son of the late Lawrence Roy and the late Rolande (Essiembre) Roy.

Among the jobs he held during his lifetime, Raymond particularly enjoyed working at CIMS radio and the NB Tourism Center. With his DJ company, he kept people dancing for over 30 years. He was also active as a volunteer in several organizations.

He is survived by his children; Josée (Codi) and Joey (Renée), his two grandchildren, and his brothers and sisters; Rogers (Judy), Diane (Paulo), André (Laurie), Daniel (Nathalie), Angela (Fern), as well as several nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his sister Carole.

A gathering will be held at the Campbellton Centre de l'Amitie, on Saturday, February 28, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

For those who wish, a donation in his memory can be made to the Tree of Hope or the Cancer Society.
