Romey Wilson

Né à Malauze le 14 février 1947, il était le fils de feu Lillianne « Lilly » (Perron) et Angus Wilson.

Il laisse dans le deuil ses frères et sœurs, Murphy Arseneault (Jean-Guy), Roy Wilson (Patricia « Pat »), Roger Wilson (Johanne) et Allean W. Lagacé (François).

Il laisse aussi dans le deuil plusieurs neveux, nièces, beaux-frères et belles-sœurs ainsi que plusieurs amis.

Outre ses parents, il était prédécédé par son frère, Wesley Wilson (feu Gladys), ses sœurs Julie Levesque (Roger) et Dale Pitre (feu Donald).

Son royaume, c’était la forêt, là où il marchait et respirait. Bûcheron, camionneur, menuisier, il savait bâtir avec ses mains et aussi avec son cœur. Pas d’enfants à lui, mais un père pour plusieurs.

Les funérailles auront lieu en l'Église Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur, Val d'Amour, le 28 avril 2025 à 14h00.

Respectant les vœux de M. Wilson, il n’y aura pas de visites.

Mr. Romey Wilson of Malauze, husband of Monique (Lavoie) Wilson, passed away at the Campbellton Regional Hospital on Sunday, April 20, 2025, at the age of 78.

Born in Malauze on February 14, 1947, he was the son of the late Lillianne “Lilly” (Perron) and Angus Wilson.

He is survived by his brothers and sisters, Murphy Arseneault (Jean-Guy), Roy Wilson (Patricia « Pat »), Roger Wilson (Johanne) and Allean W. Lagacé (François).

He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law and many friends.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his brother, Wesley Wilson (late Gladys), his sisters Julie Levesque (Roger) and Dale Pitre (late Donald).

His kingdom was the forest, where he walked and breathed. Lumberjack, truck driver, carpenter, he knew how to build with his hands and also with his heart. No children of his own, but a father to many.

Funeral services will be held at Notre-Dame-du-Sacré-Coeur Church, Val d'Amour, on April 28, 2025, at 2:00 p.m.

Respecting Mr. Wilson's wishes, there will be no visitation.
