Shirley Wedge

Tuesday, May 16th, 2023, at the Campbellton Regional Hospital, at the age of 85, passed away Mrs. Shirley Wedge of Dalhousie, wife of the late Raymond Wedge. She was the daughter of the late Eva (born Frenette) and the late Amédée Parent. 

She will be sadly missed by her children: Linda Wedge (Kenneth Vienneau) and David Wedge both of Dalhousie; her grandchildren: Jason Grosse (Kelsey) and Keisha Nash (Tyler); her great grandchildren: Aly, Maddex, Emma, Alexis and Janaya; special mention for Keith, Keitha, Mélodie and Véronique, their spouses and children. Her brothers: Carl Parent of Toronto and Vernon Parent (Millie) of Campbellton and also by many members of the family, nieces, nephews, and friends. 

She was predeceased by her husband Raymond, her parents and many brothers and sisters. 

We take this time to give our heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Veteran’s unit, emergency department and palliative care for their excellent care, compassion, respect and dignity towards our mom. We also want to thank from the bottom of our hearts, the employees of the Villa Renaissance (Bloc A) who had become her second family which she dearly loved. Thank you for all the attention you gave her. She enjoyed the talks you all had with her and the laughs. 

Respecting Mrs. Shirley Wedge’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no funeral.
