On August 29, 2021 Alice Jean Gertrude Pfenning, nee Reichert passed surrounded in the love of her children. She was born November 11, 1932 in Bismarck, North Dakota and was one of three children with an older brother Francis and younger brother Charles. At the age of 20 she married the love of her life, Henry Wade Pfenning. They moved to California and started a family of seven children. She was an incredibly loving and devoted wife and mother. Alice Jean was very active in her church and cherished her faith in God.
Alice Jean was preceded in death by her husband, older brother, mother and father. She is survived by her seven children Hank, Mary, Ann, Karen, Rob, Jim, David, 18 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren as well as Bill Mack whom she treated as one of her own.
Alice Jean was a giving and loving person that will be immensely missed by all that knew her.
