Barbara was born on August 1, 1939 on Long Island, New York. Being one of seven children, her childhood was filled with fun, high energy and lots of love. Her favorite place to hang out was on Jones Beach, and she loved to sing around the piano with her family while her mother played. After high school, she met her beloved Jerry while working at CBS Television in New York City. After they married in 1962, they moved to Southern California to start their family. They had three beautiful children, Jerry Jr, Laura and Linda.
Barbara’s life always involved singing, dancing, gardening, hanging out with her children and grandchildren, and traveling with her husband and best friend, Jerry.
A Vigil will be held on Thursday, November 12, 2026 at 7:00 pm
A Celebration of Life for Barbara will be held Friday, November 13, 2026 at 10:00 am at Saint Mel Catholic Church, 20870 Ventura Blvd. Woodland Hills, CA 91364. A reception will follow at the Taylor home.
Barbara is survived by her daughters, Laura and Linda, and her four grandchildren, Erin, Corey, Michael and Kaitlyn.
