I still cannot believe that you left us this quick. I’m still hoping that this is all just a dream and I will wake up soon. I didn't see this coming because despite your medical problem physical pains you remained tough and high spirited woman.
Ma, I want to say sorry to all the things I have done. Thank you for bringing me into this world, teaching me life, unconditional love, sacrificing to give us good life, having the right answers and solutions, comforting words, cooking for us, teaching me kindness, generosity and to always look at the better side of everything and just being you as wife, mother, grandmother, sister, friend, daughter.
Ma, thank you for showing me how a great wife should be and showing me how to take care of a family. You always tell me that your dream job is to be a full time housewife. Ma, you have done more than a full time housewife can do. I really admire you and hoping that one day I will be like you. I thank God for giving me, Jeff and twins the chance to patch things up with you and we were able to spend time with you. You taught me that family should always come first and until the very end I know you made a way for us to be united as family and to set aside our differences. 
Now that I have kids, I understand you a lot better and appreciate you so much more. I just wish that the twins were given more time to spend with you. I will make sure that Ethan and Enzo will not forget you, I'll tell them stories of how a wonder woman you are. You always think about other people first. You are the real description of “kakaenin mo na lang, ibibigay mo pa sa iba”. 
Ma, I miss you more every day and it’s not going to be the same but what keeps me going is knowing you are in the better place now where there is no pain/sufferings. I pray that you will rest in peace with our Creator. Please keep watching over us and I promise to always be here for Papa, Ate, Jamie and Essa and the rest of the family.

Ate Bona,

It hurts so much that another Ate of mine has left this world. I still cannot accept that you are no longer with us. 

I just want you to know that I love you, and I hope you knew just how much I did. I’m so sorry that I couldn’t see you one last time because I didn’t know if I could take seeing you in pain. I don’t want to see you go Ate Bong, but I know you’re in a better place now, free from suffering, and together again with Mum, Dad, Manang, Ate Beth and Ate Fe. 

I just want to thank you for being my fourth mother, for teaching me about life, although people only seem to remember how well I was taught by you in regards to my cleaning and ironing skills - you never know, I might be able to use it as a part time career. I also wished you would have taught me how to cook because somehow I always got stuck with the washing and ironing of clothes, maybe then I’d be the ultimate wife just like you. I didn’t like your strict rules when I was younger, but because of those rules I am a better person. I will always admire your strength, your generousity, and your love for your family. 

Thank you for all your support and protection, for giving me the courage I needed when I doubted myself. I will be forever grateful for everything you have done for me. 

It truly is a blessing when you are the youngest, because I was blessed with more mothers that others could only dream of. 

To Kuya Al - Thank you for all you have done for myself and for our family, for extending your love and genorousity to us. Please know that we will continue to pray for you, Janice, Jamie, Jihan and Janessa. We love you and we are always here for you. 

Ate Bong I will miss you always, till the end of my days. I know that we will see each other again, but for now, be with me and guide me always.

I am honored to share some few words about my Tita Bona.
I may not had the chance to be with her for a long time, but I really had a lot of beautiful memories with her.
Knowing her, she was a cheerful, fun-loving lady who has full of life.
I tasted some of her best recipes and she is the unbeatable Tong-Its Champ in the family.
She made everyone around her happy. She was a delight to be around.
She's one of the most important persons in my life. 
She encouraged me and helped me to reach my goals during my younger years.
Without her, I will not be the person I am today.
It's sad that she left but I know she's now free from pain and she's happy with our Creator.
I will miss her smile, her laugh, her jokes and everything about her. She was an amazing mother, a loving wife and sister, a generous aunt and an incredible grandmother.

A woman who is kind hearted, funny, loving, generous and fearless. I will remember that you were always there for us especially for the most crucial time while we were growing up. I’ll remember you braiding my hair before school. I will remember our late night conversations back at the house in Guildford when you were in Sydney and the stories you would tell us about when we were kids. I will remember all the good food you cooked. The late night tongits sessions. Our trip to Vegas, our chats on fb. Your life was cut short in its prime- you had an inner strength and lived life to the full, your integrity was instantly recognisable- you called me by the affectionate nickname "darling" which suggested to me that was your way of letting me know I was accepted into your beautiful family.
You were the sister who was unstoppable when help was desperately needed in difficult times. Your strong exuberant  but always fair personality is another of your many qualities I will always remember.
