David E. Herrera born, May 29, 1939, to parents Ramon and Santiaga (Chaga) Herrera in Canoga Park where he lived all his life. David proudly served our country in the United States Army, during this time he married his first wife Vera and started his family which consisted of six children Sandy, Annette, David, Teresa, Robert and Arnold. After working for General Motors for over 10 yrs he retired. He then remarried in 1977 to his second wife Teresa and bought a home in Canoga Park where he lived out the rest of his life creating his very own oasis in his backyard (his pride and joy). David worked at Big Lots for 25 yrs up until the end of his illness.
David went to the Lord peacefully on June 10th 2012 from home. He has joined those who preceded him: Vera(first wife), Robert(son), Arnold(son), Ramon Herrera(father) and Bebe(brother).
To cherish his memory David leaves: Wife Teresa, Mother Santiaga, Brothers Armando, Sammy and Danny, his children and step-Daughter Estella,
