Doris Faye Elliott

Doris Faye Seaman was born on March 2, 1925, to Albert and Hazel Seaman in Liberal, Kansas. She was preceded in death by both her parents; her husband, Robert Elliott; her son, Gary; and her sister, Loraine. She is survived by her son, Ken, and her daughter Merle. Also surviving are each of their mates, eight grandchildren, 24 great-grandchildren, and one great-great grandson due to deliver anytime!

Bob and Doris were married just shy of 60 years. Bob was an Aerospace Engineer, and Doris was primarily a housewife and mother. When they became empty nesters, Mom decided to go back to work as a secretary.

Both Bob and Doris loved all their grandkids and great grandkids, and loved any chance to gather with the family.

One of their favorite things to do was to go camping and fishing. We remember going backpacking as well.

Mom especially enjoyed playing games, card games in particular; and that same enjoyment and competitive spirit has trickled down to Ken and Merle.

We are thankful that this is not goodbye, but those of us that know the Lord will see the Lord, and see our loved ones once again!
