Gundina Balangue Calim was a caring mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Gundina passed away on October 16, 2021 at the age of 72 after a courageous battle with cancer, surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives worthy of the Gospel.
She was a retired teacher in the Philippines. Her life is a living testament of deep devotion for her family. Gundina is survived by her children, May and Catherine, sons-in-law, grandchildren, and sisters Grace, Genelita, Librada, and Marcelie.
A Celebration of Life Service is scheduled for 10 AM on October 30, 2021 at the the Calvary Church West Hills, 7115 Shoup Ave, West Hills, CA 91307. Interment will follow at San Fernando Mission Cemetery 11160 Stranwood Ave, Mission Hills CA 91345.
