Isabelita Reyes Venturanza Rumbaoa, “Belle” passed away in Northridge Hospital in Northridge, California on April 17, 2020, at the age of 93. She is survived by her son Glenn, grandchildren Alex and Hannah, and sister Adelaida. She was preceded in death by her husband Paul and son Astor.
Isabelita was born in Lubang, Occidental Mindoro, Philippines, received her Bachelor’s degree in Arellano University in Manila, and Master’s degree in Education at Cal State Dominguez Hills, California. She was a passionate educator who spent the majority of her life teaching and helping others. Belle eventually retired in the Seattle Public Schools system.
Belle lived a long fulfilling life as a big sister “Ate”, wife, friend and mother; she was affectionately called “Mommy Belle”. She was prayerful and very devoted to the Catholic Church. Belle was also an avid singer and lover of music. She will be deeply missed.
Funeral services will be held in Seattle, Washington.
