I knew about Jacque through my daughter Tania Douglass who many times throughout the years has shared with me about her friendship with Jacque.  So many sweet stories about the two of them and about the fun they had doing hair together.  That  they were both married on the same day 13 years ago is only one of the things they had in common.  Because Tania shared stories with me I knew how much she loved and admired her friend and knew Jacque was special.  I send my prayers to her husband and daughters.

she was a special woman to me not only as the mother of my daughter but someone whom I held in such high regard. I will love her dearly always.

I am at such a loss for words, this was such a shock.  Jacqueline and her family have been patients in my office for as long as I can remember. I have seen the kids grow up.My heart goes out to the family, she will be missed.

Jacque was my friend ,I have not seen her in over 20 years yet her spirit was always near, I wore her wedding gown to my wedding, I borrowed it... She was a warm, generous, beautiful spirit.  I wish I could have reconnected with her when I had thought of doing so.

I am still in shock by the loss of such a beautiful, spiritual, giving and loving person. Jacque was my hair stylist for 12+ years. I always looked forward to seeing her. There was a constant comfort and safe feeling going to her salon and being taken care of with such elegance and nurturing. I could talk to Jacque about anything be it sports, entertainment, politics, spirituality, relationships and so much more. We had a unique & special bond and she was more than just someone who cut my hair. We became friends over the years and I referred my wife, Rosie, to her last year. Rosie became fast friends with Jacque as well. Jacque was a bright and loving spirit who didn't judge or talk negatively about anything or anyone. We would talk about family and our beliefs resonated with each other. My heart continues to ache knowing I will not see her smiling face again at her salon. But, her spirit and energy will be with me always. My prayers and healing thoughts go out to Brian, her four beautiful daughters as well as her mother and siblings.

I've been Jacque's client for about two years, and I always looked forward to seeing her.  She was a warm, beautiful person who was so full of life and I always felt like I was in such good hands with her.  I am stunned and shocked by what has happened, and my prayers go out to her family.  I will miss Jacque very much.

I want to express my deepest condolences to Jaque's family.  I am Patty and Jacque and I were close childhood friends since the day she moved in accross the street from me at the age of 8 (I think).  Before Jacque became my friend I was teased pretty badly at school.  Then I became friends with Jacque who was undeniably the coolest, prettiest and toughest girl in the entire school.  The teasing stopped and for the first time I had more than one friend.  Elementary school went from a place of torture to a wonderful fun place to be.  We caused all sorts of mischief together like hiding in the classroom closet before recess and waiting for the teacher to leave then runniing around the classroom unsupervised, playing ding-dong ditch, tee-pee'ing neighbors trees, and one time putting a dead frog we found in a neighbors mailbox who was mean to us.  We also use to run around the neighborhood around Halloween and tell people we were on a Scavenger Hunt and we needed candy.  We also loved to eat crazy things (well, mostly Jacque) like picking lemons off the neighbors tree and pouring sugar on them or Jacque eating sour cream straight from the container or Jacque mixing chocolate powder with water making a paste and eating it.  We also loved to go to Farrells and eat troughs and one time we went with Cindy to get a zoo which we split amongst just the 3 of us.  Jacque was always better or "more" than me.  She was smarter, prettier, tougher, a better softball player and all the boys were in love with her...even the boy next door who I was in love with.  I have always admired and respected Jacque and I was so happy to get to spend time with her 3 years ago and see what a beautiful, intelligent, successful woman she had become.  She is an inspiration to us all and will never be forgotton.

I only knew Jacque for a year as one of her clients.......yet she resonated with me as someone you could connect with in a profound way.    I felt I did ... as clearly many others have.   My sincere condolences to her family.
