Jason Michael Lowart

Jason Michael Lowart was born in San Mateo, CA on April 22, 1996 and died unexpectedly in Woodland Hills, CA on November 5, 2023. He is survived by his mother Karen, father Brett, sister Kacy (brother-in-law Pat and nephews Gavin and Emmett) and brother Joseph.

He is preceded in death by grandparents he loved: Joe and Theresa Castanos and Don and Marilyn Lowart. Jason was loved by a large extended family of many aunts, uncles and cousins. Jason graduated from San Joaquin Memorial High School in Fresno, CA in 2014. He had many friends and was a spirited, active and fun-loving person. He was the MVP of his high school's CIF championship tennis team and the leading scorer on the varsity basketball team. Jason chose not to attend college and became an actor with the Screen Actor's Guild.

He was an extra on dozens of television shows and movies. His favorite extra gig was on the set of Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. He also enjoyed being a reader at St. Francis de Sales parish in Sherman Oaks. Jason will be dearly missed by his loving family and many friends who will remember his enthusiasm, laughter, outgoing nature, and willingness to help others. Until we meet again, sweet Jason. Rest in peace.
