Jeanne May Seeds was born to the late Sherney and Lois Ecklund on May 15, 1946 in Fargo, North Dakota. She grew up with 3 brothers, 2 older, Sherney Jr and Jerry (deceased), and 1 younger, Wayne. In 1960 her family moved to Mar Vista, California where she attended Daniel Webster Junior High and Venice High School.
In 1964 she married Donald Koury and had her first child, a daughter, Diane, and a year later she had a son, Steve. Later Jeanne met and married Thomas Costill and two years later they had a child together, a daughter, Karen.
Jeanne settled into a house in Van Nuys, California with her husband and three children in 1971. She was a stay at home mom and was active in her children’s lives. She took time to be a scout leader, plan great birthday parties with character cakes, and going on family vacations.
For a short time she was married to Bob Seeds and developed a love for camping. Later she began traveling and learned how to ride a motorcycle. The greatest joy of her life was being graced with three grandchildren, Shauna, Kyle, and Karina, whom she adored.
