Born in North Attleboro, Massachusetts, 1/4/1927. He lived there until he went in the U.S Navy in 1943 through 1945. John served in the Pacific, Philippines, Iwo Jima and Okinawa. At the end of the war, he did land duty with the marines in China to clear japanese prison camps on the mongolian border.
In December 6, 1945, he returned home and married Thelma Larson. Together they had three daughters and moved to California.
John worked for 32 years for AT&T. He loved his family and enjoyed horses, boating, airplanes, motorcycles, music and westerns.
John passed in the comfort of his home with his family around him. He is survived by his wife Thelma, three daughters, six grandchildren and ten and a half great-grandchildren.
