He found comfort and joy in staying connected to his culture through familiar traditions, food, and daily routines. He especially enjoyed watching Vietnamese fishing channels and lifestyle videos on YouTube, which reminded him of home and brought him peace. Sharing meals was one of his greatest joys, and he loved gathering with family over food, where stories, laughter, and connection were always present.

Above all, John cherished his family. He was a devoted husband and a loving father, and he was incredibly fond of his daughter, often sharing stories with others about her and lighting up whenever he spoke of her. His love for his family was constant, gentle, and unwavering.

He will be remembered for his humility, his bright and comforting smile, and the warmth he brought into every room. He leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and love that will continue to live on through those who knew and loved him.
