Beatrice Seastrand passed away peacefully at home on April 22, 2026.
Karen was born on February 6, 1938 in Greeley, Colorado.
In her early years, Karen, along with her sister Barbara (a
past member of Shepherd of the Valley) moved several
times, including Texas, before finally going west and
settling in Van Nuys California in the 1950's.
Karen met Lowell at a youth event at Central Lutheran in
Van Nuys and both attended Van Nuys High School. Karen
and Lowell hit it o from the start and were married over
68 years!
After High School Karen and Lowell started a family,
moved to the West Valley. They have four children,
daughter; Julie, Son's; John,Je,and James.
Eight grandchildren; Kate, Michael, Christina, Robert,
Luke, Ryan, Tia and Jack.
Plus the blessing of six great-grandchildren; Charlie,
Benjamin, James, Garrett, Harley and Bruce.
Karen's biggest joy came with spending time with family
and friends. God always came first in her life and she left
this earth happy
