Missing you today and every day my good friend Linda.  Miss our talks. 

   My dear friend Linda.  I cannot believe you’ve been gone from this earthly world for 2 years already.  The purple crystal Orb you gave me when I retired hangs in the front window of our RV so you can travel with us.  I miss you and our talks so much.  Continue to watch over your family.  Your son Darren also misses you so much.  Until we meet in Heaven,  continue to be my Angel.

Dear Linda,
It's been one year now since you've been gone. I still miss you and always will.
R.I.P Linda!

Linda and I were in the same class at Canoga High - graduated June of 1969.  I didn't know her that well at the time -- she said that she liked my brother, who was on the football team.  But our family definitely knew her family.  My mother would buy milk from the Giacopuzzi Dairy and eggs from the Trafficanda Ranch.  That's what we did in the 60's.  

During the last 10 years I have been running into Linda at almost every community event.  The Platt Friends of the Library, the Friends of Taxco Sister City Group, and the Historical Society.  She always had a smile for me!  I enjoyed every minute reminiscing with her about CPHS and growing up in Canoga Park.

Lots of Love to the family!

I am now the President of the Canoga Park Women's Club and just have to say that each year at our Holiday Boutique at our Clubhouse, Linda would bring home baked cookies to donate to us for our Bake Sale.  What a champ she was!   Her kindness and her cookies will be missed!

For you Linda, until we see each other again in Heaven. 

One of my fondest memories of Linda was the great conversations we had at Ruth's kitchen table.  She could discuss about  anything.  If she did not know a lot about some topic, she would shift gears and start asking questions instead.  Her avid reading made her knowledgeable about a lot of things and she was willing to share any book she owned.  There was a time or two when I would show an interest in a book she was reading.  I barely got the words out about how great the book sounded when she would close it and tell me to take it with me--she would finish it later.

Good conversation is an art form and Linda had it perfected plus she loved to laugh.  She has left me with a lot of great memories.

Linda was a community leader in the true sense of the word.  She was always willing to assist organizations and individuals with the projects they were supporting.  Linda was a member of the Friends of Taxco and contributed when she was not assisting the Historical Society, Women's Club, etc.  She was a good friend and leaves an empty spot in my heart.  She will be missed in the times to come but surely will be remembered by all who knew her.  My best wishes and condolences to her friends and family.

Linda and I were BOTH born in September so ever since I can remember she would send me a note saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY TODAY Jimmy!! It was just to easy not to remember our Birthdays.

It was a blessing to have known Ms. Linda! 💗She was one of the first to make new NACP members feel welcomed. I personally enjoyed every story she shared about her family’s farm and the many adventures she had growing up. She often invited me (and others) to visit her beloved Carpintería. I will make sure to visit.
Ms. Linda went above and beyond to help others with whatever it was we needed. She was especially fond of ensuring our kids were cared for, ate well and reminded them to always use their manners. 
I will forever keep the words of wisdom she shared with me and her warm hug as we said goodbye on the last day of school! Ms. Linda will forever be remembered 💕

May she rest in paradise and to her family, please know that we cared for Ms. Linda dearly. Sending you my heartfelt condolences.
 


I met Linda 3 years ago when she called me to ask if I wanted to take over her position on the Friends of Platt Library Board, since she was taking on the position of Board President. When I said yes to her offer, she was as so generous , patient and  gracious teaching me what was expected of me on the Board. 

For the  following 3 years I marveled how Linda completed all the duties of Board President with such ease, expertise and enthusiasm. 

Linda, I will miss your beautiful smile and vivacious personality. May you Rest In Peace in the arms of our loving Lord and May God comfort your family and friends. 💕

My most heartfelt condolences to Linda’s family.

Linda and I became friends almost five years ago when we sat down at the same table at Maggiano’s for the End of the Year Party. She was literally the life of the party. She told stories about Canoga Park and how different things were. We laughed so much, we cried. 

Since that day, there were so many kind gestures exchanged. She was always there to lift your spirits, to say a kind word, give you an uplifting hug, to give you a gift to show how much she loved you. 

Linda is/was one of those rare people that make the world better. I will miss her kindness, her gentle spirit, and her thoughtfulness. She loved the students.

Linda was of sunshine every day at NEW Academy.

Ms. Linda was/will always be a ray of God's sunshine.  She had a distinct voice, kindess, and laugh. Genuine.  She provided a special type of love to the students, staff, and families at NACP.  We were all blessed to be loved by Ms. Linda. She never went out of her way to do anything because everything she wanted to do was in her way.  There was no hesitation when it came to her giving of her time, her stories, her memories, her history, her personalized crocheted gifts of love.

Oh Ms. Linda! I have no doubt you are in heaven watching all of us miss you! Thank you for making my comfort blanket in 2014. You said to wrap myself to feel your hugs so that I was never alone. I will never feel alone when I think of you.  Thank you Ms. Linda for the life you shared with all of us❤

 Since I taught music at our school, she always had wonderful music resources and opportunities to share with me. Her light was contagious and it was such a joy to be in her presence. I’m praying her time at our school ended on a positive note, because she was such a positive person. Thank you Linda for giving your sunshine to our students, our staff, and me. 

Linda was always so very nice all throughout high school  I am very sorry for the families loss.  My husband and I are unable to attend services, as we very much wanted to pay our respects.  We are attending another class mates celebration of life (Ray Dembroge) in Carson City.)

I only knew Linda for a very short time however in that short time I learned that she was a passionate and kind soul. She was always looking for ways to help others and to share stories. I learned so much from her- about her family, about the area, and local history.  The team at NACP could always count on Linda to lend a helping hand which was always appreciated.  She will be missed and has made a huge impact in the lives of many. 

Kinda welcomed me at NEW Academy with opened arms. I was lucky to sit near her at one of our holiday celebrations where she shared her family’s history, including their egg ranch in Canoga Park where my family did business. She was an interesting storyteller, a positive role model, and had a great holiday spirit! I will miss her smile and positive energy! 💕

Linda and I shared a deep love for Carpinteria, books and getting books in kid's hands. She knew what our students loved and somehow even what I loved and what I knew the students would love. She was ALWAYS bringing a bag of books for me for the school library, our school's  Little Free Library and to hand to the kids at lunch time. We often talked about Carp, books, authors and our mutual connections. She was often sharing joyful updates of of the people we both knew and we enjoyed talking about places that used to be in/around/still present in Canoga Park. 

Linda was so proud of her service at Platt library and the historical society that her eyes lit up when sharing about them.

I will forever miss her presence at N.E.W. Academy Canoga Park and will always miss that I didn't get to say goodbye.

   Linda was a special lady and my first friend when I started at NACP five years ago. We shared a friendship that carried over away from school. We talked often on the phone outside of work. She loved working with kids and keeping the lunch area and tables clean for them.

We were all blessed by Linda’s presence at NEW Academy. She shared her love for books, games , and gardening with our students. She had a huge heart. Linda was always doing for others . Linda was a blessing ! She will be missed. Praying for her  family during this time.
