Lorraine Mae Pina

Lorraine is survived by her children; Terri-Ann Pina, Corri-Allison Pina, and Bobbie Albert Pina of Canoga Park, CA formerly of New Bedford, MA; brother, James Barros of Los Angeles, CA; 7 grandchildren; Khadijah Safa (Pina) Binder of Denton, TX, Marcus James Pina of Canoga Park, CA, Tyson Rose, Bobbie Albert Duarte, Devin Bruce Duarte, Tyler James Duarte of New Bedford, MA, and Payton Emerson-Pina of Sierra Madre, CA; 4 great-grandchildren and many nephews and nieces.

Lorraine was born on November 25, 1939 in New Bedford, MA to Peter and Aurora (Lopes) Barros. She grew up in New Bedford, MA where she also raised her 3 children before raising them in Boston, MA until relocating to California in September 1986.

After moving to California in 1986 Lorraine continued working as an administrative assistant, activity director and later in sales. She retired in 2007 and dedicated her time traveling, reading, writing, prayer and attending church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Peter and Aurora (Lopes) Barros of Boston, MA and brothers, Donald Barros of Boston, MA and Ronald Barros of West Hills, CA.
