Born April 27, 1910 passaed away May 15, 2012 peacefully from causes associated with old age at her home in Woodland Hills. She was an amazing woman and inspiration to all who knew her. Born in Quincy, Illinois, the daughter of a CB&Q train conductor. She married Richard (Dale) Harris in 1934, worked many years for Safeway, a proud member of Local Retail Clerks Union 1442.Widowed in 1977, she became a volunteer of Northridge Hospitalat the age of 70 and spent the next 28 years making close friendships. Survived by her only child, Barbara Lee McNeill (Malibu), granddaughters: Diana McNeill (Santa Barbara) and Andres McNeill (Ben Levy) of Woodland Hills; five great grandchildren: Michael and Nathalie Graham, Emily Roberts, Shane and Regan Levy. She will be forever remembered and greatly missed.
Funeral Mass at St. John Eudes Catholic Church in Chatsworth, Thursday, May 24th at 10:am with burial at Holy Cross Cemetery immediately following.
