He loved catching up and seeing what others were up to.

More of the dinner group, last September. He was always so quick with a smile and a kind word.

This is the wonderful Lyn Harding with Kal Jenkins(me). We had known each other for several years at this point through the dinners and church events, but when my grandpa Virgil passed, he went out of his way to give me his card and urged me to reach out anytime. He is truly a heart-full person who gave wonderful hugs, and will be missed dearly. 😥

Here he was at one of the Friday Night dinner group that he regularly attended for years. He was such an integral part, and always made sure to let everyone feel included.

Brother Lyn played a significant role in my conversion to the church. He welcomed me with open arms. I was proud to serve with him in the quorum presidency and even more blessed to have him as a friend.  He was always there for others on both sides of the veil. I will miss him terribly and look forward to our meeting again.

My family and I, Chuck and Jillian send our deepest condolences to Lyn's family. This is a family that I've loved over 65 years when I was just a child growing up in Canoga Park. Lyn, Pat and Jeff were an amazing light in my life and still are. We miss Pat and now we miss Lyn, but it gives us great peace to know they are together. Thank you Harding family. We love you. Debbi

Lyn was a wonderful friend. He was always kind and caring, but what I remember most was his ability to turn every conversation into a pun or quip. I will miss his infallible sense of humor

Lyn and Pat were the best "in laws" ever! They took me in from the beginning, always displaying much love and care and making feel so very welcome into their family.  Once my own parents passed, I felt very comforted knowing I still had Nan and Pop.  I loved Lyn's dry and witty sense of humor.  He could make a joke out of anything!  My trips to Ca. will never be the same without him there.  So happy for your reunion with your sweetie. Your hearts desire fulfilled! The real you lives on!! Enjoy the ride!

When in big group settings, Lyn always loved to share a really unique fact about himself. He would go on to share that he had been married twice. Once civilly and once eternally to his dear companion in the sacred House of the Lord. Who can deny is unfettered passion for his dear wife? I strive to create similar bonds with my own wife and appreciate that great example. Thank you, Lyn!

So grateful to have been able to spend the day with him when he was here in Maryland.  Pictured with his nieces, nephew & great nieces & nephews.  I will miss your wit, your laugh, your sense of humor. But most of all, I will miss you. I’m glad you’re celebrating with Aunt Pat, Mamaw & Papaw & my Mom.  I love you Uncle Lyn.

We are sorry for your loss. Our hope is that you will find some peace in the coming days by remembering Lyn's thoughtfulness, kindness and generosity for so many others. 

Lyn's dedication for Pat was truly remarkable and showed how very much in love with her he remained to her last days. Those last few years must have been very difficult, yet Lyn was steadfast in his duty and honored his vows. As such, your father was an inspiration for all to see.
