As anyone who knew Marianne was aware, she loved to teach. Her world revolved around it. Even on vacations she could not walk into a store without coming out with something for her kids. She also had a great passion for flying and aviation. She very much enjoyed the many "First Sundays" we spent at our hangar at the Santa Paula Airport chatting with visitors who stopped by.
She especially enjoyed showing off "her" airplane. We shared hundreds upon hundreds of hours flying across the country over the years. Sometimes she would take the controls and fly the airplane but mostly it was all about the views for her. She would just sit there staring out the windows as the miles literally flew by. The view is also one of the many reasons why she loved the condo in Las Vegas. She could spend hours staring out and enjoying the spectacular scenery.
We will miss you.
