April 3, 1918 - October 22, 2011
On October 22, the angels led Mary into eternal life with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.
Mary was born in Roebling, New Jersey to Jacob and Anastasia Lisehora. She shared life
with seven siblings, (predeceased, Michael, John, Anthony, Anna and Helen.)
She was a loving mother to her two children, Mark and Donna. (Mark passed away March 14, 2010,
and Mary followed him on his birthday October 22.
Surviving is her devoted husband of sixty years, Edmund Soroko, daughter Donna Woods, her husband
Dave and their four children, Kim, David, Bonnie and April; Sister Esther Barnes, her husband Barney
and their two children Josie and Kenny; Bella Shaw Soroko (Mark's widow) and their two children,
Max and Luke, and seven great grandchildren whom she adored.
During World War 2 Mary enlisted in the Army Cadet Nursing Corps, becoming a 2nd Lt., She continued her
40 year nursing career ending with the Veterans Administration Hospital.
