It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Michael David Montes, a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, and friend, who departed this life on October 17, 2025, at the age of 46.
Born on January 9, 1979, Michael was known for his quiet strength, kind heart, and deep compassion for others. Though he was a reserved man, his love ran deep, and those who knew him best were touched by his loyalty, humor, and caring nature.
Michael leaves behind his devoted wife, his one-year-old son, his daughter, granddaughter, and three stepchildren, all of whom he loved dearly. His family was his pride and joy, and he found peace and purpose in caring for those he loved most.
A viewing and memorial service will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Gates Kingsley Mortuary, located at 6909 Canoga Ave, Canoga Park, CA 91303.
Michael’s memory will live on through the love he shared, the lessons he taught, and the warmth he brought into every life he touched. Though he may be gone, his spirit will forever remain in our hearts.
