We were remarking just yesterday (12/15/25) how much we miss this man. His incredible zest for life in his younger days and the absolutely nutty antics we'd find ourselves embroiled in when Mike was involved. Rest in Peace, Brother. Always.

Kind condolences to Mike's family and friends.  He was a rough, gruff individual but had a kind heart.  He would always call and check-in on his family and friends to see how life was going for them even though I think he was suffering from ill health,  
I'll always remember and miss his some-what hurried calls during the week just to say 'how's it going!'.  

Rest In Peace Mike.

Best memories of Mike, always thoughtful and considerate.  He was gruff sometimes, most of the time but always thoughtful to make a call to check-in and see how everyone was doing.  He valued those connections and friendships he made over the years.

Mike was a surfer.  I surfed with him in the 1970’s.  The image of him charging, going deep on a super late take off on a double-overhead wave, is burned into my memory.  He was fearless in the water.  And he always shared the stoke.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. A high-powered mutant of some kind never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Mike was always up for adventure. I was living between Florida and North Carolina at the time and Mike and buds came out for mine and Dorian Zimmer's wedding. I laughed so hard at the antics, I almost didn't make it to the wedding. 

2005. I had a place by the beach in Jupiter, FL. Mike, Jimi and Jamie came out to visit for 10 days of fun. The absolute best of times.

Our condolences, to Alma and family. Michael will be missed, he is in our hearts, and thoughts. he took the time to call his family and friends to say I love you and how are you doing. Rest in Peace, we love you.
