My heart is with the Oedys and the Hermansens. Much love and blessings go with the very dear and special Nancy Oedy.

I had not had the pleasure of seeing Nancy in years. All I can remember from the time I had become friends with her son Bob, I always enjoyed her. She was a truly amazing parent and really made everyone who came into the Odey's lives welcome. I am sure wherever she is traveling in the moment in time. She is keeping a good watch over the ones she loved. Love to all the Odey family. Hope and Blaine Kaplan

Although we never met, I'm sure Nancy, perhaps a candidate for sainthood, is now with my mom who we  released with great sadness and happiness to God's embrace 11 years ago. Who else could have helped raise such a rascal and good father like her son Bob.

I knew Nancy from the time I was born...when we lived down the street in Torrance almost 50 years ago.  I have many memories growing up with the Oedy's and definately, some of my best memories involve them.  The one thing that always stood out to me was Nancy's love of family and close friends.  I regret that I have not seen her for awhile, though I can hear her amazing laugh and voice as if I had seen her yesterday.  She patiently watched all of mine and Mary's performances with applause and praise and I never heard her happier then when talking of all her children.  My mom loved her like a sister, and if I knew anything else that would be enough to make me love her and miss her forever.

I believe I met Bob's mother maybe once many years ago. I remember her getting upset with Bob and I for throwing oranges in the street. So very tough to lose your mother. God Bless her and her family.

My condolences to the families of Nancy Oedy, John Hermansen and Mary Ann, Bella, Dean...Difficult times often makes a family stronger - I wish you strength, courage and happy memories of Mom...Grandmother...mother-in-love...
