Yia Yia was just a great inspiration in my life with the biggest heart anyone could imagine. I appreciate everything she has done for me including your loving and caring daughter " My Mother Krystal Katsikas " You both will always be my Angels up above in Heaven .
May God Bless you both. There has not and will not be a day that I don't think about Yia Yia and my mom. They may be gone but they will never be forgotten.

I will miss my Yia-Yia very much. As my boys (Dimitri&Alex)would say, she will be having fun with their Yia-Yia (Krystal) in heaven.

Angie, I am so sorry for your loss. Grandmothers are special people, and now you have a special Angel in heaven watching over you. Cherish the memories and know she loved you very much.

Alexandra (Sandra) Summers was a Beautiful young Greek immigrant woman, who worked very hard to give all her children "nothing but the best".
She worked as a seamstress, installing linings in mink coats and as an assembly line worker, loading bullets for the WWII war effort. Always eager to learn, Sandra became a beautician, and then a practical nurse. She was very strict with her children. I admired her tenacity and discipline, She loved this country. I will miss talking to her on Sunday nights. God Bless you, Mom.

I am a friend of Angela Dawson, her granddaughter and have heard several warm tales of her spunk, humor and love. To Angela and all who loved her, my condolences and warm wishes,

There are so many memories that come to mind when I think of Aunt Sandra. I'm especially grateful for Aunt Sandra and Uncle Tommie for all the cousins they produced. That made for allot of fun growing up. God Bless You

Sandra Summers lived a long life full of love for her family, the church and all things Greek. She was a tough Macedonian who passed along her strength and sense of determination to her granddaughter Angela, who was fearless enough to marry me.

I loved her thick greek accent - she always wanted me to marry a nice-a-greek-boy. She had a very large presence and I am glad we had so many Sundays together across the street and my grandparents house.

I'm glad I got to see her again at Generous George's with Uncle Tommie before he passed away. It was like old times seeing them together. I'll miss Aunt Sandra very much.

She was a wonderful Aunt. Loving, caring and gave the best hugs. Her home was a place of many good times and memories over the years.
