I worked at their McDonald’s ‘81-‘83 and really felt like a family.  I remember one summer we went to the Tecks house for a party and Steve was barbecuing McDonalds patties.  Steve and Donna treated us like adults. I was so proud when they made me a swing manager.    I live in Texas now and was not able to go to the service.

Steve Teck hired me  at McDonalds back in 1981. I learned so much but most of all I remember the warmth that both Steve and Donna treated their teen employees. 

Steve gave my first job, He told me I needed to get a hair cut before I could start working. Steve and  Donna taught me much in the 4 years I worked for them.

Steve Tech was a very nice, caring and friendly man., and a great boss. He gave me my start in retail, working at McDonalds in the early 80s.  My condolences to the Tech family.  I will always remember my days at McDonalds fondly. 

I met Steve about 12 years ago. From the moment I met him I knew we would be great friends . Through the years he became more than just a friend, he became a mentor and father figure. We realized how much we had in common, both being brought up in the San Fernando Valley but most importantly our love for our families. Steve knew he had his past but that only fueled him to love his family that much more. He was grateful for Donna and his family. It was something he talked about frequently. He had told me that his last trip with his family was wonderful . I am glad that they got to share those moments just a week before he passed.  I loved Steve Teck for the man he was. He truly cared for the well beings of others. I am proof of that. I miss you buddy and our nightly conversations.
