William John Rogowski

William John Rogowski was born a fraternal twin in Los Angeles, California on May 31, 1947. William peacefully passed away on March 1, 2026 at 78 years old in West Hills, California (West San Fernando Valley). A beloved son, twin brother, and husband, William was a successful music producer of film music soundtracks as well as an actor and screenwriter. His 1983 produced movie soundtrack "Revenge of the Ninja" with composer Robert J. Walsh is considered a cult classic. William also worked for Cannon Films on other move projects in the 1980's as well as for Warner Brothers Studios with composer Robert J. Walsh. William was an Eagle Scout, All-Star center fielder in Little League, and a 3 year Varsity Letterman in Swimming at Reseda High School. He graduated with High Honors from Reseda High School. William was also an accomplished clarinetist and tenor saxophonist playing in his Reseda High School Concert Band and Dance Band. The Reseda High School Dance Band was a finalist in The Battle of the Bands performing at The Hollywood Bowl in 1965 with William in the Sax Section. William John Rogowski attended USC his freshman and sophomore years. He transferred to UCLA for his junior and senior years majoring in Theatre Arts. As an actor, William performed in numerous plays in Southern California and was cast in the TV Series "Medical Center" as a lifeguard in the 1970's. Also in the 1970’s, William graduated from the Don Martin School of Broadcasting and became a Radio Disk Jockey for station KVEN in Ventura, California and station KAVL in Lancaster, California. Surfing the waves at Malibu, California and California Street in Ventura, California was one of his favorite pastimes.During the past few years, William continued to produce background music for Film and Television with music placements into various projects including "Fire with Fire" starring Bruce Willis, "Doomsday Preppers" for National Geographic TV, "D.O.A." starring Dennis Quaid, The Outer Limits TV Series, Saturday Night Live, and many more. He created The Cinematone Collection, a music library of World Class Compositions available for, licensing into Film, Television, Commercials, and Multimedia Projects. William will be remembered as a talented artist, good friend, a man of good character, kind, and a cherished family member.
