

Alfred Henry Pacifico of Woodstock, GA passed away peacefully on May 25, 2025 at 89 years of age. Son of the late Ruth Pacifico. Loving husband of Gloria Pacifico of 61 years. Beloved father of Todd Pacifico and his wife Vivian Pacifico of Canton, GA, Sharon Pacifico and her husband Mark Mataev of Dover, MA, and Glenn Pacifico and his wife Roza Pacifico of Bend, OR. Cherished grandfather of Arianna Pacifico, Zachary Pacifico, Alexandra Pacifico, Mia Pacifico and Adam Mataev. Alfred H. Pacifico was born in Boston in 1936 and attended Brighton High School. Following High School, Alfred enlisted in the Air Force and worked on hydraulics for the B-36 and B-52 bombers from 1954 to 1958. He was stationed in Goose Bay, Labrador and Dallas, TX. Following his service, Alfred worked at LaGuardia Airport and Raytheon. Shortly after meeting Gloria Pacifico (maiden name Landy), he began working for Landy Beef Company in 1963 for Morris Landy (Gloria’s father). In 1980, he relocated to Vermont with Landy Veal Co. and became an owner in the Company. He retired from the meat business in 1988 and moved to Boca Raton, Florida. In 1996, Alfred and Gloria moved to Georgia where their sons Todd Pacifico and Glenn Pacifico resided. Alfred worked for Marietta Toyota for 17 years before retiring in 2013. Following Marietta Toyota, Alfred volunteered at the Marietta courthouse for a couple of years. Alfred, known as Papa, enjoyed spending time with his five grandchildren. Alfred loved to attend his grandchildren’s sporting events, ballet recitals, band performances, swim meets, etc. Alfred and Gloria loved to travel and visit friends and family in New England and Oregon as well as take family vacations. Alfred was an avid trap and skeet shooter at the Massapoag Sportsmen’s Club in Sharon, Massachusetts. Alfred loved cars and owned over 50 cars in his lifetime. He also enjoyed woodworking and making gifts for his children and grandchildren. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a funeral service on Friday, May 30, 2025, 10 AM, at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, MA followed by interment at Lindwood Memorial Park, 490 North Street, Randolph, MA. Shiva will be immediately following interment at the home of Sharon Pacifico. In lieu of flowers, donations in Alfred’s name may be made to Disabled American Veterans at www.dav.org.
