Arlene P. Zeichner

Arlene P. (Kapiloff) Zeichner of Newton, entered into rest on Friday, October 23, 2026, at the age of 85. Arlene was born on January 15, 1941, in Brooklyn, NY, to the late Mike J. Kapiloff and Ann L. (Schalet) Kapiloff.

Arlene was the devoted wife of the late Dr. Michael Zeichner. Together, they shared 61 years of marriage. Family was a great source of joy for Arlene and Michael, as were their cherished time on the Cape and Martha’s Vineyard.

Arlene’s greatest pride and joy was her family. She leaves behind her children Sharon Feid and her husband Randy, and Lisa Lerner and her husband Howard, her grandchildren Rachel Feid, Matthew Feid, Andrew Lerner and Jason Lerner.

Arlene will be remembered for her kindness, her love for her family and friends, and her delicious cooking. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

At the request of the family, funeral service and shiva will take place privately.
