Arthur M. Goldberg

Arthur M. Goldberg of Needham; formerly of Brookline passed away on February 20, 2012 at the age of 78. Born on March 12, 1933 in Boston, MA. Arthur was the son of the late Nathaniel and Rebecca (Pruskin) Goldberg. Mr. Goldberg was educated in the local schools and later attended the University of Vermont. He worked for over 30 years at his father’s business Bridge Tire in Mattapan. Arthur served his country in the United States Army during the Korean War. For several years Arthur was active in little league for the town of Needham as a coach and umpire. Mr. Goldberg was a devoted father to Elissa Roberts and her husband Dr. Ingram of Southport, CT; David Goldberg of Needham. The loving brother of the late Helen London. A cherished grandfather to Dayna Roberts and Jorri Roberts both of Southport, CT. A graveside service will be held at Sharon Memorial Park, 120 Canton St, Sharon MA on Sunday, February 26, 2012 at 11:45am.
