Benjamin M. Shapiro of Randolph, MA passed away on November 1, 2026. Ben was born in Boston on September 19, 1949. He was the son of the late Abe Shapiro and Shirley E. (Abrams) Shapiro.
Ben was a graduate of Boston Latin. In his junior and senior years, he was inducted into the National Honor Society (NHS). He went on to attend Northeastern University, graduating with a BS in Mathematics as well as a Masters Degree in Mathematics.
Ben was the loving nephew of the late Sally and Harry Smith as well as the late Mickey and Pearl Shapiro. Also, a beloved cousin of the late Elaine Cohen. Ben is survived by his brother Marvin M. Shapiro of Randolph. Also, his cousins - Barry Shapiro and his wife D'Vorah Azariah, Joyce Braverman, Andrea Kennedy and her husband Rob Kennedy, Michael Shapiro, Ellen Czahar and her husband Greg Czahar.
Ben was a true and loyal friend to both family and friends.
Funeral services will be held at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475
Washington Street, Canton on Sunday, November 8, 2026 at 10 AM, followed by interment at Zviller Cemetery, Baker Street Jewish Cemeteries, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury.
