

Charles Edward Albert, passed away peacefully on February 9, 2026 at the age of 92. Born on May 17, 1933, in Boston, he was the beloved son of the late Harry and Edna Albertof Dorchester and Randolph.
Charlie married his love, Jean Albert, in April 1961, and together they shared 64 years of deep love, devotion, and family. He was a fiercely dedicated husband, father, and grandfather who took great pride in building a business that allowed him to provide a full and joyful life for those he loved. He will be remembered as the “fun dad” and “Papa,” a successful businessman, with a warm, generous spirit affectionately known as “The Chaz.” Charlie loved boating, skiing, tennis, the arts, history, reading The Boston Globe, awarding scholarships to students, visiting the casino, and relaxing in the sun with his pipe. Charlie was a proud veteran of the korean war.
He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Jean Albert, and his sister, Audrey Reimer. He is survived by his loving children, Audrey Albert King (Jeffrey King) and Daniel Albert (Patty Albert); and his cherished grandchildren, Rachael King (Kevin Ruhl), Annie King (Scott Rabinovitz), Joshua Albert and Sara Albert,as well as his nephew, Matthew Reimer (Renee Reimer).
Funeral services will be held on at 10:30 AM on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at Stanetsky Memorial Chapel, 475 Washington Street, Canton, followed by interment at Atereth Israel Cemetery, 776 Baker Street, West Roxbury.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Charlie’s memory may be made to the Veterans Association of America or the Kiwanis Clubs. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to CareOne of Sharon and the devoted staff of Ascend Hospice and Sudbury River for their compassionate care.
